Good Treats as well as Good Foods August 22, 2006

Antioxidant Health Bars contain no by-products, chemical preservatives, artificial flavors or colors
Don't just settle for good pet foods alone.

There are a variety of dog treats on the market today, and companies are making more and more flavorful products every day. I'm sure it's fun for pet owners to shop around in pet stores to get all the different types of treats to make their dogs and cats happy.

When you choose a treat, however, please read the label first to make sure that there aren't questionable ingredients in it. For example, BHA, BHT, ethoxyquin, propylene glycol, artificial colors and flavors, and excess sugar are common in many store-bought pet treats. If you are committed to feeding natural pet food to your pet, then you should be just as selective when you choose treats.

HealthyPetNet has natural treats. My dog's favorite is the Antioxidant Health Bars. These healthy treats are made of whole foods such as cranberries, apples, and spinach. There are no by-products, no chemical preservatives and no artificial flavors or colors. I sometimes pour a little bit of warm water onto the pieces she will eat to create a moist texture just before I give the treats to my dog. She seems to like it this way.

Good diet doesn't end with only good food!
