The earth is merely a tiny dot compared to the vast universe that spreads out endlessly around it.
Many of you might have seen the documentary movie "An Inconvenient Truth" with Al Gore. This movie basically follows Al Gore as he presents a slide show - a lecture on the global warming environmental crisis that he has shown more than 1,000 times throughout the world. He also discusses his efforts and struggles as an environmentalist through all the years of his political career. This movie is made in a clear and simple way so that everyone can understand, including children with the help of their parents and teachers. It gives us food for thought about what we can do for the future survival of the earth. Al Gore himself calls global warming - the feature topic of the movie - a "Climate Crisis". This movie won two Academy Awards in 2007 - Oscar for the Best Documentary and Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures (Original Song).

To contribute to a healthier future environment, I like the idea of recycling. It is simple and easy for anyone to start immediately. I don't use any disposable plates and cups at home. I use wash rags instead of paper towels to clean things around the house. These are a few of my small contributions to the environment.
It's also wise to purchase products from companies that support a healthy environmental system. Trilogy (the company that produces holistic products for people, pet and environments), for example, now offers cleaning products that are environmentally-friendly as well as pet and child friendly. They come in re-usable bottles and sprayers. You can buy refillable cleaning product concentrates in small pouches for continuous use.
